AI Virtual PeerAIクラスメート

An AI agent joins an elementary-school classroom as one more student. It listens to the lesson in real time, asks naive questions, argues for a different point of view, and sometimes makes mistakes on purpose, so that children have to explain, disagree and think together.

We designed and built the photorealistic virtual peer and evaluated it in real collaborative classes.

AIエージェントが「もう一人の生徒」として小学校の教室に参加します。授業の音声をリアルタイムに聞きながら、素朴な疑問を投げかけ、別の立場を代弁し、ときにはわざと間違えることで、子どもたちが説明し、反論し、一緒に考える場面をつくります。
